The history of Reiki spans at least 5000 years ago into the past and has traversed many cultures, purposes, and levels of awareness on its journey to us now. Although it is a remarkably effective physical healing technique, it also offers a deeper level of participation: one in which the student is beckoned into a powerful journey toward self realization. The Reiki Foundation’s courses are designed to honor and share the richness we are rediscovering about the many aspects of this ancient Science of Light.

This is the foundational class for beginning work with Reiki. It will give you a deeper understanding of what Reiki is, how it was rediscovered, how it operates, its specific uses and complete demonstrations of how to use this technique for yourself and others. Four activating attunements, the "heart" of the Reiki System, are given by the Reiki Master-Instructors through which we tap into this universal life energy at will.

First Degree Classes may be taught through an interactive, ninety minute tele-class, followed by a full-day of traditional classroom instruction. Each student receives four specific energetic attunements from one of our certified Reiki Master Instructors to establish a permanent connection to the flow of Reiki energy, then detailed instruction in both traditional and alternative hand positions for the proper application of Reiki. Finally, students participate in supervised, clinical applications of each treatment position for self -treatment, with a single client, or as a part of a integrative medical healing team. Master Instructors provide individual instruction as needed. Some Reiki classes are structured to meed the requirements of the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodyworks (NCBTMB) for eight hours of continuing education units (CEU) of classroom instruction

Each student participates in follow-up teleconference calls at no charge.

Successful students receive Reiki First Degree Certification and a manual of instruction.

Reiki - Second Degree

This course is available to those who wish to pursue a higher, more powerful level of the system. Second Degree is taught in two interactive, ninety minute tele-class, followed by a full day of traditional classroom instruction. Although it requires more commitment to study the information, it enables the student to become a more active participant with and director of the energy.

Enhances the scope of the Reiki System by enabling individuals to consciously and efficiently direct coherent intelligent energy through and beyond the physical plane through the use of Ancient Sacred Symbols. It accelerates the healing process, increases the flow of energy and provides additional techniques for absentee healing, treating deep-seated mental and emotional blocks, compulsive, and long-standing dysfunctions.

The attunement given and the symbols taught in class accelerate the healing process, increase the flow of energy and enable you to work with the Reiki energy outside of your immediate physical location and time frame. Manual and certificate are Included.

Some Reiki 2 classes are structured to meed the requirements of the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodyworks (NCBTMB) for eight hours of continuing education units (CEU) of classroom instruction.

Advanced Reiki II is a full-day workshop which brings to light a far greater understanding of the use of the Second Degree Reiki System through Energetic Programming and Environmental Attunement. The course focuses on the vast use of the Reiki symbols to program energetic qualities into our daily lives, homes, businesses, and world.

Much as the Chinese have understood the power of energetic alignment and harmony in the Science of Feng Shui, the Reiki system can activate energetic patterns and programs to "tune" our environment to support us in a more harmonious and constructive manner. Drawing upon the fields of sacred geometry and the laws that govern the natural world examples are given to indicated how all life is governed.

Instruction is given on how to cleanse and align energy patterns, and create energetic programs, much like living 'holograms' of light energy, that will focus and radiate specific qualities into a location, activity, or goal.

Personal & Environmental Reiki

A powerful exploration into the means of directly changing the energy systems of our life and environment through Reiki. This class will focus on direct usable processes and formulas for improving our home, work, life and the environment around us. Guided meditations and special processes will enhance the understanding and use of this system. This class is a direct experiential approach and enhancement of the Advanced Second Degree Class with new and advanced techniques.

The universe, though seemingly complicated and infinite, is composes of fundamental principles and building blocks. Once we begin to understand the nature and form of these building blocks we can greatly enhance the speed and power of manifesting our constructive desires. Discord, unhappiness and global pollution is a mis-combining of these elements, a distortion of the higher principles governing the universe.

With this Pure and Potent Light Energy directed at our conscious command through our High Self we can pivot and transmute vast amounts of energy in an efficient and elegant manner without strain and tension.

To increase our mastery we must exercise our Divinely given powers, guided by Love and self-control. This course is a direct experiential approach to clearing, designing and empowering our environment.
